Srinagar, Oct 27: Dr Ishtiyaq Ahmad Chashoo, a renowned Chemistry teacher from Kashmir, has received the Pharma Ratna Award in New Delhi.
Chashoo was among only two teachers from Kashmir selected for the honour, along with Professor Geer M Ishfaq.
With three decades of teaching experience, Chashoo has made significant contributions to education and has influenced the lives of numerous students across Kashmir.
His recognition has been welcomed as a moment of pride for the region’s academic community.
