In its latest weather update, the centre said isolated areas could receive light rainfall on Friday and Saturday, while weather conditions are expected to remain predominantly dry during the following week.

The forecast indicates a possibility of light rain or light snowfall at a few places between November 1 and 3, suggesting a potential change in weather conditions at the beginning of next month.

The weather department has also advised farmers to continue harvesting and other agricultural operations, indicating that the forecast does not currently call for a widespread interruption to farm activities.

The forecast covers the coming days as farmers continue seasonal harvesting operations across the Valley. Any subsequent change in precipitation, particularly in higher-altitude areas, will depend on the evolution of weather conditions closer to the forecast period.
