14 Police officers transferred, Sujit Kumar is new IGP Kashmir, Tejinder Singh IG Jammu

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 27: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Thursday ordered transfers and postings of 14 police officers with immediate effect.

As per Government Order issued by Home Department, M.K. Sinha, IPS (AGMUT:1996), ADG HQ, has been transferred and posted as ADG CID J&K vice Nitish Kumar, IPS.

Nitish Kumar, IPS (AGMUT:1999), ADG CID J&K has been transferred and posted as ADG Armed Police J&K, against an available vacancy.
Uttam Chand, IPS (AGMUT:2002), IGP (Police Operations & Services) Police Headquarters has been transferred and posted as IGP Railways, J&K vice Vivek Gupta, IPS. The officer shall also continue to hold the additional charge of IGP (Police Operations & Services) Police Headquarters, till further orders.

Bhim Sen Tuti, IPS (AGMUT:2004), IG Jammu Zone has been transferred and posted as IG HQ, J&K, against an available vacancy.

Sujit Kumar, IPS (AGMUT:2007), IG Security J&K has been transferred and posted as IG Kashmir Zone, against an available vacancy.

Vivek Gupta, IPS (AGMUT:2007), IGP Railways, J&K has been transferred and posted as IGP Security J&K vice Sujit Kumar, IPS.

Tejinder Singh, IPS (AGMUT:2008), IG CID J&K has been transferred and posted as IG Jammu Zone vice Bhim Sen Tuti, IPS.

Shakti Kumar Pathak, IPS (AGMUT:2009) has been designated as Director, Anti-Corruption Bureau.

Mubassir Latifi Ameer, IPS (AGMUT:2011) DIG (Personnel) PHQ holding additional charge of DIG Training, PHQ, has been transferred and posted as DIG IR Kashmir, against an available vacancy.

Sahil Sarangal, IPS (AGMUT:2017), SSP Handwara has been transferred and posted as SSP Pulwama, against an available vacancy.

Sunny Gupta, IPS (AGMUT:2020), Addl SP Anantnag has been transferred and posted as SSP Kishtwar vice Naresh Singh.

Tahir Saleem Khan, (JKPS:2001), SO to IG Kashmir Zone has been transferred and posted as SSP Handwara vice Sahil Sarangal, IPS.

Muzaffar Ahmad Shah, (JKPS:2004), SSP SCW Kashmir has been transferred and posted as SO to IG Kashmir Zone vice Tahir Saleem Khan.

Naresh Singh, (JKPS:2004), SSP Kishtwar has been transferred and posted as SSP Rajouri, against an available vacancy.

The order has been issued by order of the Lieutenant Governor.
