: The Jammu & Kashmir Premier League (JKPL) Season 3 witnessed two exciting league encounters, with Valley Fresh Cold Chain securing a comfortable win over Paras Hospital, while Kanwal Tigers Cricket Club produced a composed run chase against Asian Warriors.
Valley Fresh Cold Chain defeat Paras Hospital by 8 wickets
Paras Hospital were bowled out for 82 runs in 18.3 overs, with Valley Fresh Cold Chain’s bowling attack keeping a tight grip on the innings. Umer Malik was the standout bowler, claiming 4 wickets for 18 runs, while Shabir Lefty took 2 wickets for just 9 runs. Faizan Dar, S G and Suhaib Thopa also chipped in with wickets.
Chasing 83, Valley Fresh made light work of the target, reaching 88/2 in just 6.3 overs. Saqib Nazir smashed an unbeaten 25 off 8 balls, including three fours and two sixes, while Shabir Lefty remained unbeaten on 22 off 14 balls. Suhaib Thopa also provided a quick 23 off 12 deliveries.
Valley Fresh Cold Chain completed an emphatic eight-wicket victory, with their bowlers and explosive finishing ensuring a dominant performance.
Kanwal Tigers Cricket Club beat Asian Warriors by 5 wickets
In the second encounter, Asian Warriors posted 109/9 in their allotted 20 overs. Tahsin Dar top-scored with a valuable 28 off 19 balls, while Naveed Bungree and Baraar Qazi contributed 20 runs each.
For Asain Warriors , Salman Ahmad Bakshi was the pick of the bowlers, taking 4 wickets for 31 runs, supported by Faisal Syed, who claimed 1 wicket for 15 runs.
Kanwal Tigers began their chase steadily, with Naveed Bungree scoring 20 off 17 balls and Baraar Qazi adding 20 off 27 balls. The innings was then anchored by Asif Ramzan, who played a match-winning unbeaten knock of 39 runs from 26 deliveries, striking three fours and two sixes.
Henan Malik also made a valuable contribution with 14 off 9 balls, while Ankush Bandral remained unbeaten on 6.
Kanwal Tigers reached 113/5 in 17.5 overs, completing a convincing five-wicket victory with 13 balls to spare.
Both matches showcased competitive cricket, disciplined bowling and impactful batting performances, adding further excitement to the JKPL Season 3 league stage.
