Srinagar, July 15: Director General of Police, J&K, Nalin Prabhat on Wednesday visited Cargo and interacted with Special Operations Group (SOG) personnel.
Accompanied by V.K. Birdi, Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, and other senior officers, the DGP took stock of the operational preparedness and working conditions of the force.
During the interaction, the DGP appreciated the role of SOG personnel in maintaining peace and combating militancy in the Valley. He also discussed security arrangements and measures to further strengthen counter-insurgency operations.
Senior officers present on the occasion briefed the DGP about the prevailing security scenario and ongoing operations in the region.
