Baltal, Jul 10: Jammu & Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha reviewed the arrangements for Amarnath Yatra and interacted with pilgrims at the Baltal base camp on Friday.

LG Sinha said administration, including Police, Army, and other security agencies have worked together to ensure the pilgrimage remains safe, secure, and smooth.

He said every effort is being made to ensure devotees return with a pleasant experience.

He said that he personally inspected the tent accommodation and officers on duty are continuously monitoring the facilities. “I believe this yatra will be remembered for its efficient management and I hope the arrangements will continue to improve further,” he said.

He also said 100-bed hospitals, one each at Baltal and Chandanwari, have been functional for the past three years aand are providing best possible medical support to both pilgrims and personnel engaged in yatra duties. (KNO)
