Khyber Cement regrets accident at Khonmoh Plant; Injured Employees Receiving Medical Care

Srinagar, Jun 19: Khyber Cement is deeply saddened to report that an unfortunate accident occurred on 18th June 2026, at its manufacturing plant in Khonmoh, at around 9 PM, resulting in injuries to a few employees.

Emergency response protocols were activated immediately following the incident, and the
injured employees were provided prompt medical assistance before being shifted to the
hospital for further treatment and care.

Senior members of the management team are closely monitoring the situation and remain in
constant contact with the injured employees, their families, and the attending medical teams.

Khyber Cement is extending all necessary support and assistance to ensure that those affected receive the best possible medical care and attention.

At this time, our primary focus remains on the recovery and well-being of the injured
employees.

The cause of the incident is currently under investigation. Further updates will be
communicated in due course of time.
