Srinagar, June 15: Two persons are feared drowned after they allegedly fell into a power canal in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday, officials said.

Officials said that the incident took place near the Ramwari area of Gund, prompting authorities to launch a massive search operation.

Soon after the incident, teams from SDRF, Police, and local volunteers were pressed into action to trace the missing persons.

An official said that rescue operations are underway and further details are awaited. (GNS)
