Sharing the details on X, Shah said the major crackdown was carried out under “Operation RAGEPILL” and described the seizure as a significant achievement in the country’s anti-drug campaign.

He said Captagon, often referred to internationally as the “Jihadi Drug”, was allegedly being transported to Middle Eastern countries when the consignment was intercepted by the agencies. A foreign national has also been arrested in connection with the case.

The Home Minister reiterated the Centre’s commitment towards building a “Drug-Free India” and asserted that the government follows a strict zero-tolerance policy against narcotics smuggling and trafficking.

Shah stated that authorities would take firm action against every attempt to use Indian territory for the movement of illegal drugs, whether entering or leaving the country.

He also praised the Narcotics Control Bureau officials for their alertness and successful execution of the operation, calling their efforts commendable in the fight against narcotics trafficking.
