Srinagar, Apr 13: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday ordered transfers and postings of several JKAS officers with immediate effect in the interest of administration.

According to Government Order No. 771-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated April 13, issued by the General Administration Department, Ranjit Singh, JKAS, Special Secretary to the Government, Home Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat.

Vaibhav Kohli, JKAS, Special Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, has been posted as Excise Commissioner, J&K, replacing Mr. Subash Chander Chhibber, JKAS, who has been directed to await further orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department.

Dr. Sunil Sharma, JKAS, Additional Secretary to the Government, Home Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat.
