Srinagar, Mar 29: A global and national gathering of Parliamentarians, Diplomats, intellectuals was witnessed Sunday at SKICC where Swami Vivekanand International Peace & Spiritual Cultural Centre in collaboration with Zenith Book of World Records & World Star Records organised one day convention which was graced by the Chairperson of Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi as the Chief Guest.

The theme of the program was ‘Message of peace for the whole humanity’.

Rajib Pal, the founder of the Centre, faned Activist Anil Chauhan, Bollywood celebrity singer and the brand ambassador of World Book of Star Records Santsree Bhattacharya, Padma Shri Dr Vikas Mahatme Ex MP, eminent jurist Dr Harendraroy Yadav & Yoga Expert Acharya Shri Raja Shastri were also present during the felicitation ceremony.

The highlight of the program was the presence of tge eminent politicians, bureaucrats, diplomats & prominent intellectuals from Nepal. A peace dialogue was held between Nepali and Indian think tank from all States of the country. Different Awards to many people were given by Dr Darakhshan in different categories.

Later speaking on the occasion, Dr Syed Andrabi said that Kashmir strived for peace for decades and ultimately the government under Prime Minister Shri Modiji’s leadership ushered in a new era of lasting peace & development here.

“Before 2019, we were known by the violence, innocent killings, terror attacks, strikes and curfews but now the visionary decisions by the Modi government has changed everything here. Now we are giving messages of peace to whole of humanity”, said Waqf Board Chairperson.

She said that those who have seen the wrath and ugliness of violence know the value of peace.

“After getting a conducive atmosphere here, our youth are now contributing immensely in difference sectors of life and are playing significant role in the national growth journey. It is our collective responsibility to sustain this peaceful environment so that our new generations reap the fruits of peace, coexistence, communal harmony and brotherhood”, said Andrabi.

She congratulated the awardees and requested them to continue their exemplary work in different ways. Dr Darakhshan thanked Dr Rajib Paul for presenting Zenith Book of Records Honour to her for her service to peace and harmony.
