Srinagar, Mar 18: Authorities on Wednesday closed the Mughal Road for all types of vehicular movement following fresh snowfall and rainfall at Pir Ki Gali.

SSP Traffic Rural, Farooq Qasier said that the decision was taken in view of safety concerns arising from inclement weather conditions along the route.

No vehicular movement will be allowed on the road till further notice. Commuters have been advised to avoid travel on the route and follow official updates, he said.

The status of the road will be reviewed and updated once it is declared safe for movement. (KNC)
