Jammu, January 26: The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at the Crime Branch Headquarters, Channi Rama, Jammu.

On this occasion, the National Flag was hoisted by the worthy Inspector General of Police, Crime J&K, Sujit Kumar Singh-IPS accompanied by SSP Crime Branch (EOW) Jammu Faisal Qureshi-JKPS; SSP FPB Mohd Yousuf – JKPS, SSP CICE J&K Ramnish Gupta-JKPS; SSP Crime Branch (SCW) Jammu, Sanjay Parihar-JKPS; SSP ANTF J&K Anwar Ul Haq-JKPS; Addl. SP Fingerprint Bureau Noor Ul Hassan-JKPS; SO to IGP Crime J&K Mohd Shafi-JKPS.

While addressing the gathering, the IGP Crime J&K extended warm greetings to all officers and officials on the auspicious occasion of Republic Day.

He lauded the dedication, professionalism, and commendable contributions of the Crime Branch personnel in strengthening the functioning of J&K Police.

The IGP also appreciated the achievements and performance of all units of Crime Branch Jammu in combating crime and upholding the rule of law.

The IGP highly appreciated the staff for the impressive performance of the National Anthem and presentation of Rashtriya salute, the beautifully prepared Tricolour-themed Rangoli reflecting remarkable artistic skills and the disciplined parade contingents, which added greatness to the ceremony.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of sweets among the staff, showcasing a spirit of unity, pride and celebration.
