Army promotes holistic well-being through yoga & stress management lecture

Udhampur, Jan 08: In its continued endeavour to foster holistic well-being and mental resilience among its personnel, a transformative lecture on Yoga and Stress Management was conducted under the aegis of Dhruva Command at Udhampur on Thursday.

The session highlighted the relevance of ancient yogic wisdom in addressing the challenges of modern-day stress and operational pressures.

Participants were sensitised to time-tested yogic practices aimed at calming the mind, harmonising the body and nurturing the soul. Through guided insights into holistic techniques, the lecture emphasised cultivating inner balance, emotional stability and resilience – key attributes for sustained performance and mindful living.

The interactive and enlightening session proved to be a rejuvenating experience for all present, inspiring them to integrate yoga into their daily routine as a powerful tool for enhanced well-being.

The initiative reaffirmed the Indian Army’s commitment to the physical, mental and spiritual health of its personnel, reinforcing the belief that a sound mind and body form the foundation of operational excellence.
