A huge crowd witnessed the grand finale, with cricket enthusiasts packing the venue and creating a charged, festival-like atmosphere for what turned out to be one of the most memorable finals in the league’s history.

The league was conducted with the support of HexaMed Diagnostics as the Title Partner, CT University as the Powered By Partner, Department of Forest as the Presenting Partner, Jammu and Kashmir Bank as the Banking Partner, Kanwal Spices, Oxford Hospital, Jammu and Kashmir Excise Department and the Anti-Corruption Bureau as the Associate Partners, JK Sports Time as the Live Streaming Partner, and Pepsi as the Beverage Partner, whose association added scale, professionalism and institutional strength to the tournament.

Chasing a daunting target of 237 runs in the pressure-packed final, Royal Goodwill Cricket Club showcased nerves of steel and fearless intent, reaching 241/5 in just 19 overs, completing one of the most remarkable run chases in BIG JKPL history.

The final belonged to Jehangir Lone, who delivered a rare “golden all-round” performance.

He made vital breakthroughs with the ball, claiming three crucial wickets, before unleashing a breathtaking batting assault, smashing 57 runs off just 20 balls, including seven towering sixes.

His match-defining contribution earned him the Player of the Match award.

If Lone ignited the chase, Aasif Manzoor ensured a flawless finish. Playing one of the finest knocks ever seen in the league, Manzoor remained unbeaten on 84 off 33 balls, striking at a staggering rate and clearing the boundary ropes nine times.

Earlier, Aadil Reshi (46 off 28 balls) provided valuable support to build a solid foundation for the record-breaking pursuit.

Earlier in the evening, Valley Stars Ganderbal had posted a formidable 236/6, led by skipper Nadeem Dar, who played a sensational knock of 58 off 21 balls, while Ravi Thakur added a stylish 57.

Despite their aggressive batting display, the Valley Stars bowlers struggled to contain Royal Goodwill’s relentless power-hitting, which saw the champions smash 20 sixes in just 19 overs.

The grand final proved to be a true celebration of cricket, producing over 470 runs in 39 overs, and bringing the tournament to a thrilling conclusion.

Vikrant Sharma, Cluster Head North, 92.7 BIG FM, along with RJ Juhie, Morning Show Host, and the BIG FM organising team including Ahmer Ikhlaq and Sahil Choudhary, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all participating teams, sponsors, officials, media partners, volunteers and the cricket-loving public for their unwavering support.

They stated that the overwhelming response and massive crowds throughout the league reaffirm the BIG JKPL’s role in promoting cricket, youth engagement and a positive sporting culture in Jammu & Kashmir.

With an unforgettable finale and enthusiastic public support, the BIG JKPL 2025–26 concluded on a high note, firmly establishing itself as one of the premier cricket leagues in the region.

Sheetal Nanda, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government in the Forest, Ecology & Environment Department of J&K, was the chief guest on the opening ceremony and the presentation ceremony was graced by Satish Sharma, Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport, Science & Technology, Information Technology, Youth Services & Sports and ARI & Trainings Departments.
