Govt orders transfers, postings of JKAS Officers

Srinagar, Dec 22: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday ordered the transfers and postings of several JKAS officers in the interest of administration, with immediate effect.

As per an government order, Lal Chand, JKAS, Deputy Commissioner (South), Jammu Municipal Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary in the J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages.

Nasir Ahmed Butt, Junior Scale JKAS, Assistant Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (Trade and Store), Jammu, has been transferred and his services placed at the disposal of the J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages on an ex-cadre basis.

Similarly, Najeeb Latief, Junior Scale JKAS, presently serving as CDPO Nagseni, Kishtwar, has been transferred and his services have also been placed at the disposal of the J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages on an ex-cadre basis.

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu Singh, Junior Scale JKAS, currently posted in the office of the Resident Commission, J&K Government, New Delhi, has been recalled and his services placed at the disposal of the Information Department for further posting.

The order has been issued by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir and comes into effect immediately.
