Govt Revises Budget Discussion Schedule for Several Deptts

Srinagar, Dec 15: The Jammu and Kashmir government has revised the schedule for budget discussions of several departments.

According to an official order issued by the Finance Department, the budget discussion for the Science and Technology Department has been rescheduled from December 8 to December 17, to be held from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The discussion for the Jal Shakti Department (Irrigation & Flood Control), earlier scheduled on December 9, will now take place on December 18.

Similarly, the budget discussion of the Jal Shakti Department (Public Health Engineering) along with Youth Services and Sports has been rescheduled to December 18, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.

The discussion for the Technical Education Department, Skill Development, Hospitality and Protocol will now be held on December 18, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, instead of December 6.

The Public Works Department (including Toshkhana Estates) budget discussion has been shifted from December 9 to December 19, scheduled from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Meanwhile, the School Education Department budget discussion, earlier slated for December 3, has been rescheduled to December 19, from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

The revised schedule has been issued in partial modification of the earlier budget discussion programme dated November 24, 2025. (KNC)
