The drive primarily focused on curbing traffic violations, especially the use of pressure horns, which pose a serious threat to road safety.

Vehicles were thoroughly checked for overspeeding, non-use of seat belts, helmets and other traffic violations.

Special emphasis was laid on commercial vehicles, where pressure horns were detected, removed on the spot, and challans were issued under the relevant provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act.

A spot awareness campaign was also conducted during the drive to sensitise drivers and road users about essential safety measures aimed at reducing road accidents.

DySP Traffic Kulgam /Anantnag, DTI Anantnag and DTI Kulgam actively participated in the drive, ensuring its effective execution.
