Senior Journalist, Tariq Bhat Passes away, funeral prayers held, large number of people participate

Srinagar, Nov 4: Prominent journalist and J&K Bureau Chief of The Week, Tariq Ahmad Bhat, has passed away following a cardiac arrest, leaving the media fraternity in shock and grief.

A senior journalist with decades of experience, Tariq Ahmad Bhat was known for his credibility, professionalism, and insightful coverage of Jammu and Kashmir’s affairs.

Colleagues and associates have described his passing as an irreparable loss to journalism in the region, recalling his warm personality and commitment to the highest standards of reporting.

Meanwhile, a large number of people, including Journalists, locals and others participated in his funeral, held at Chota Bazar area here.
