In his message, Baba reflected that Diwali is much more than a festival it is a universal celebration of the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil. The message of Diwali, he noted, beautifully echoes the fundamental principles of human rights, which uphold justice, compassion, and equality for all.

“Diwali inspires us to illuminate not only our homes but also our hearts with the light of humanity,” said Baba. “At a time when the world faces growing challenges of inequality and division, let this festival remind us to stand together for peace, dignity, and respect for every human being. May the light of Diwali guide us toward a future of harmony and shared prosperity.”

Baba further commended the people of India for their resilience, unity, and spirit of inclusiveness, qualities that continue to inspire hope and progress globally. He encouraged citizens celebrate Diwali responsibly promoting environmental awareness, social harmony, and the well-being of all.

The International Human Rights Commission Global joins Baba in extending its sincere wishes for a safe, joyous, and prosperous Diwali to all families across India and the world. May the festival of lights bring renewed strength, compassion, and collective progress to humanity, he added.
