Srinagar, Oct 14: An 18-year-old boy was injured after being attacked with a sharp-edged weapon in Qamarwari area of Srinagar on Tuesday, officials said.

An official said that the teenager was attacked by an individual with a sharp-edged axe, leaving him in a pool of blood.

He said the boy was immediately shifted to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for treatment, while his condition is not known yet.

The injured has been identified as, Numaan (18), son of John Mohammad Khanday, resident of Qamarwari,

Meanwhile, Police have taken cognizance of the incident, while a police officer said investigations have been taken up.(KNO)
