RS Polls: BJP candidates submit nomination papers

Srinagar, Oct 13: Jammu and Kashmir BJP President and senior leader Sat Sharma (CA) and two other candidates on Monday filed their nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha elections at Srinagar.

Sharma along with other candidates reached the office of the Returning Officer along with several senior BJP functionaries and filed his papers amid a show of party strength.

The nomination filing comes as part of the BJP’s official process for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections, where Sharma is being fielded as the party’s candidate from the Union Territory.
