The championship witnessed an overwhelming participation of more than 1200 athletes from across the Union Territory, competing in various age categories and both male and female events. The event reflected the growing popularity of Pencak Silat in J&K, where the traditional Indonesian martial art is steadily gaining recognition as both a competitive and cultural sport.

Dabgotra’s performance not only brought laurels to the Central Sports Team but also highlighted the strong contribution of the Jammu & Kashmir Police in nurturing sporting talent and promoting a culture of fitness and discipline among its personnel.

Speaking about the achievement, officials praised Saksham Dabgotra for his dedication and sportsmanship, noting that such accomplishments serve as an inspiration for the youth of J&K to pursue excellence in both service and sports.

The 10th edition of the championship was marked by thrilling competitions, vibrant displays of martial arts skills, and enthusiastic support from spectators. The success of the event further cements J&K’s position as a hub for martial arts talent in India.
