The patient, who had been living with severe knee pain and limited mobility, faced additional challenges due to her weight, making the case extremely complicated. However, with the support of state-of-the-art robotic technology, the surgical team led by Dr. Avtar Singh, Chief Orthopaedic & Joint Replacement Surgeon, executed the procedure with unmatched precision and accuracy.

Commenting on the achievement, Dr. Avtar Singh said: “This patient came to us with a single hope — to walk again. In cases of higher weight, precision is critical to ensuring safety, mobility, and long-term results. Robotic technology enabled us to achieve that precision, delivering a successful outcome. At Amandeep BR Medicity, we firmly believe that embracing advanced technology is the key to transforming patient care.”

Dr. Burhan Nazir said ‘Its indeed a great achievement for the valley and a testament that such complex cases can also be managed here in the valley. Our team is prepared and dedicated to manage such complex cases with the best of technology’

The patient’s family expressed heartfelt gratitude, sharing that they had nearly lost hope before approaching Amandeep BR Medicity. They praised Dr. Avtar Singh and his team for restoring mobility and confidence to their loved one.

With this accomplishment, Amandeep BR Medicity continues to pioneer cutting-edge robotic surgeries in Jammu & Kashmir, setting new benchmarks in patient-centric healthcare. The hospital remains dedicated to making advanced technology accessible to all, ensuring that every patient receives the best possible care and outcomes.
