Pulwama Gunfight: One militant killed, operation underway

Srinagar, September 8: Another terrorist has been killed in an ongoing encounter at Guddar area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday.

A top police officer said that one more terrorist has been killed in exchange of fire with security forces. Identity of the slain terrorists is being ascertained.

Earlier, one terrorist was killed and three army soldiers including JCO were injured in the gunfight. One of the army soldier is stated to be critical.

The encounter broke out after a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in the area on a specific input. (GNS)
