GDC Ganderbal grieved over student’s demise

Ganderbal, Aug 11: The principal, staff, and students of Government degree college, Ganderbal, on Monday extended their heartfelt condolences to the family of Nazakat Ali Khatana, a student of batch 2024 (Roll No. 242021, Reg. No. 17206-GBL-2024), who lost his life in a tragic drowning incident on August 10, 2025 in Madhumati, Bandipora.

“In this moment of profound grief, we stand in solidarity with Nazakat’s family and pray to Almighty Allah to grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannah (Paradise) and grant his family the strength to bear this irreparable loss,” college media secretary said in a statement.

“Nazakat was a sincere, punctual, and dedicated student, and his absence will be deeply felt by all of us,” the statement read.
