Two new specialized deptts inaugurated at Amandeep BR Medicity, Sgr

Srinagar, Aug 01: Amandeep Hospital marked a significant milestone with the grand inauguration of two new specialized departments – Dialysis & Nephrology and Dental & Maxillofacial Surgery – further expanding its comprehensive healthcare services for the region.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Dr. Avtar Singh, Founder and Chief Orthopaedic Surgeon, Amandeep Hospital, alongside the local medical team, reads a statement issued to the INS.

The launch of the Dialysis & Nephrology Department was led by Dr. Hilal Malla, Senior Consultant Nephrology, bringing with him a wealth of expertise in renal care and dialysis treatment.

Simultaneously, the hospital also unveiled its new Dental & Maxillofacial Surgery Department, under the expert guidance of Dr. Abid Majeed Rather, a renowned Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.

Dr. Rather completed his BDS from Jammu University and pursued his MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the prestigious PGIMER, Chandigarh, followed by senior residency at AIIMS Bhubaneswar.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Avtar Singh expressed, “With the inauguration of these advanced departments, we continue our mission to deliver accessible, world-class healthcare under one roof. Our focus remains on specialized care, cutting-edge technology, and patient-centric services.”

These additions will enhance Amandeep Hospital’s capacity to offer high-quality treatment for patients with kidney-related ailments and complex dental or facial surgical needs, ensuring that the people of the region receive expert care close to home.

Dr. Avtar expressed, “With these new departments, our aim is to bring expert, specialized care closer to the people. At Amandeep Hospital, we’re constantly evolving to serve our community better.”

From just a five-bedded hospital, AHPL has grown to more than 750 operational beds, and a team of more than 170 distinguished surgeons and physicians, who have transformed more than 5 lakh lives, and counting.

The Amandeep Group has six branches, with two located in Amritsar and one each in Pathankot, Ferozepur, Srinagar, and Tarn Taran. The Group has transformed 5 lakh lives since its inception.
