Kargil Diwas celebrated at Teetwal, yatris participate in celebrations

Teetwal, Karnah, Jul 26: Kargil Diwas was celebrated at Azmat-e-Hind Crossing bridge at LOC Teetwal Karnah today with great enthusiasm.

A large number of yatris of Sharda temple also took part in the celebrations. The event was presided over by Dy. Commander of 104 Shakti Vijay Brigade, CO Mahar Unit and a large number of locals.

Coordinator of Sharda Temple, Ajaz khan represented about 60 yatris that included kashmiri pandits as well. A colorful event concluded the function with school children and speeches by locals emphasizing India’s victory while paying reverence to soldiers who got martyred in Kargil war.

Prizes for good performances were also distributed in the event, held right at LoC.
