Pulwama, Jun 11: A man lost his life after a sand wall collapsed on him in Nowhar Malpora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.

An offical said that the deceased has been identified as Bilal Ahmad Alaie, son of late Abdul Ahad Alaie, a resident of Trichal Pulwama.

He was working as a tractor driver and was reportedly extracting soil when a sand wall caved in, burying him underneath, he said.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is underway. (JKNS)
