Jammu, May 22: An army soldier who was injured during exchange of encounter with terrorists in forest area of Singhpora Chatroo in Kishtwar district on Thursday.

Taking on micro-blogging platform X, the army’s Knight Corps wrote, “During the ongoing operation, fierce gunfight is continuing.

One of our Bravehearts sustained grievous injuries in the exchange of fire and has succumbed despite best medical efforts.

Earlier, a fierce gunfight erupted between terrorists and security forces in forests of Singhpora Chatroo in Kishtwar.(GNS)
