‘Flight ops at Srinagar airport to resume with immediate effect’

Srinagar, May 12: The flight operations at Srinagar international airport along with 31 others will resume with immediate effect, officials said.

In an official statement, a spokesman said, “Attention Flyers; reference notice issued for temporary closure of 32 Airports for civil Aircraft operations till 05:29 hrs of 15 May 2025.It is informed that these Airports are now available for civil Aircraft operations with immediate effect.”

“It is recommended for travellers to check flight status directly with Airlines and monitor Airline’s websites for regular update,” the statement reads.

Pertinently, the flight services were suspended at 32 airports, including Srinagar airport after India launched Operation Sindoor to target terror camps in Pakistan in response to Pahalgam attack that claimed 26 lives in April 21.
