ADDC Rajouri Killed in Pak Shelling at his Residence

Rajouri, May 9: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Rajouri, was killed on Saturday after a shell hit his residence amid ongoing cross-border hostilities.

Official sources said that ADDC Rajouri, Raj Kumar Thappa was seriously injured in Pakistani shelling.

Fatal incident occurred when a mortar shell landed directly on Thappa’s house, causing critical injuries, they said.

He succumbed shortly after being shifted to hospital, official sources said.

Senior officers have reached the spot. The area remains tense as shelling continues in forward locations of Rajouri district, they said.
