According to the order, the children attaining the age of six years are to be included in respective ration categories AAY, PHH, NPHH, or Exclusion under family ration cards or households. Additionally, any eligible person left out from the PDS will now be covered under existing norms.

The order also states that any reported case of a widow or divorcee not already included in the PDS will be provided a separate ration card under applicable categories, based on financial status and in line with National Food Security Act (NFSA) rules.

The decision is aimed at ensuring comprehensive coverage and support for all deserving citizens under the Public Distribution System in J&K.
