Srinagar, May 01: Ujala Cygnus Kashmir Super Specialty Hospital Thursday held an insightful press conference focusing on the evolving dimensions of plastic surgery and facial aesthetics.

The session was led by renowned Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Dr. Junaid Khursheed, with the proceedings opened by Medical Director, Dr. Pervaiz Sufi.

Speaking to the media, Dr. Junaid shed light on the latest innovations in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, emphasizing the transformative role these procedures can play in improving not just physical appearance but also patient confidence and quality of life. “From facial rejuvenation to post-trauma reconstruction, the scope of plastic surgery today is vast and deeply impactful,” he said.

Dr. Pervaiz Sufi highlighted the hospital’s commitment to bringing world-class medical expertise to the region. He noted that Ujala Cygnus Kashmir is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a highly qualified team to address complex cases across specialties, including cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.

The event also featured an interactive Q&A session, allowing journalists to inquire about the risks, benefits, and ethical aspects of aesthetic interventions.

The hospital plans to hold similar awareness programs in the future to educate the public on available medical advancements and promote health literacy across Kashmir.
