Srinagar, Apr 13: Police on Sunday said to have arrested three gamblers and recovered a stake money of Rs 4240 in Zadibal area.
An official told the INS that on recieving a reliable information about gambling, Police party raided the place and arrested three persons on the spot.
The trio include Mudasir Abbas Pahloo, S/o Gh. Ali Pahloo, R/o Khushalsar, Zadibal (28), Nadeem Hussain Kachroo, S/o Gh. Hyder Kachroo, R/o Khushalsar, Zadibal, (28) and Shabir Hussain Bhat, S/o M. Hayat Bhat, R/o Khushalsar, Zadibal (32).
Upon search at the scene, playing cards and stake money amounting to Rs 4240 were recovered from their possession.
Necessary legal action has been initiated against the accused as per the relevant provisions of law under FIR number 14/25 under section 13. G. Act was registered by PS Zadibal and started investigation.
