Govt accepts Safeena Baig’s resignation as J&K Haj Committee Chairperson

Srinagar, Apr 12: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has officially accepted the resignation of Safeena Baig from the post of Chairperson, Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Haj Committee.

According to an official government order a copy of which lies with news agency JKMS reads, In terms of section of 24 of Haj Committee Act, 2002, the resignation of Ms. Safeena Baig as Chairperson, the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Haj Committee is hereby accepted w.e.f. 24.08.2024.
