After landing in Kashmir, Shah, according to KNO visited the residence of Deputy Superintendent of Police Humayun Muzamil, 32, who was one among the four officers who lost their lives in the line of duty during an encounter with terrorists in south Kashmir’s Kokernag area on September 13, 2023.

Sources said that the Home Minister is scheduled to meetings in the Raj Bahwan later in the evening and he is also likely to interact with individuals and delegations.

Pertinently, Shah arrived in Jammu on Sunday and chaired crucial meetings in the winter capital. He also visited ‘Vinay’ border outpost in Kathua, and addressed Border Security Force (BSF) personnel there.

Shah will stay in Srinagar till Tuesday afternoon.
