Srinagar, Mar 29: The authorities here on Saturday announced change in school timings within municipal limits of Srinagar and elsewhere in Kashmir Valley from April 1.

“Consequent upon the approval conveyed by the competent authority, all Government and Private Recognized Schools within the municipal limits of Srinagar city shall observe school timings from 09:00 AM to 3:00 PM, w.e.f 01.04.2025,” read an orderby Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK).

With regards to the schools falling outside municipal limits, the order said that school timings shall be from 9:30am to 3:30 pm, the order added.
