Eyewitnesses told KNT that the collapse occurred due to continuous rainfall, which had weakened the structure. “There was a loud crash, and within moments, the wall crumbled, damaging several parked vehicles,” said a hospital visitor.

The affected vehicle owners expressed outrage over the incident, blaming poor maintenance and structural negligence for the collapse. “This could have been a disaster if anyone was inside a vehicle at that moment. Authorities need to take such issues seriously before a tragedy occurs,” said an aggrieved car owner.

Officials from the hospital administration and local authorities reached the spot to assess the damage.

With persistent rains continuing to lash the Valley, concerns are rising over the stability of other aging structures. Locals have urged authorities to conduct safety audits to prevent further incidents.
