Jammu, Mar 15: Atleast five people were injured including four women in a road accident at Sangla Chowk area of Poonch district on Saturday.

Officials told GNS that a ECO vehicle bearing registration number JK11E7782 was travelling from Rajouri towards Mendhar when the driver lost its control over the vehicle resulting in an accident.

In the incident five people were injured who were shifted to SDH for treatment, where from doctors referred one to GMC Rajouri for advanced treatment.

The injured have been identified as Mohd Basharat (S/o Mohd Din), Age 65 years, Safeera Begum (W/o Mohd Azam), Age 65 years, Jamshad Begum (W/o Mohd Rafig), Age 65 years, Maqdoom Akhter (W/o Mohd Bashir), Age 45 years and Shagufta Parveen (W/o Zahir Abbas), Age 48 year.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
