Srinagar, Mar 01: Chairman Jammu Kashmir Civil Society Forum (JKCSF) and President Pensioners United Front, Abdul Qayoom Wani Saturday expressed grief and sorrow on the demise of former DIG Shiekh Hafeez, father of Sarmad Hafiz Commissioner Secretary Youth Services and Sports Jammu and Kashmir.

In a condolence statement, Wani said that the deceased was a pious human being with great qualities of head and heart.

Wani said that the deceased has served the society with different official positions.

He prayed for Jannatul firdous to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family members especially Sarmand Hafiz, his brother Dr Shibli and cousin DIG Ladakh division Shiekh Junaid and others to bear this loss.

All the leaders of JKCSF and JKPUF showed sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family members at this difficult time and prayed for eternal peace’ to the departed soul.

A high-level delegation headed by chairman Qayoom wani along with Mir Fayaz, Mohd Shafi Kambi and others visited the residence of Sarmand Hafiz for sympathy and solidarity.
