Srinagar, February 27: ‘ACT – For A Better Tomorrow’, a renowned theatre group known for its thought-provoking productions, is proud to have performed “Pagal Koun?”, a gripping Urdu play written by Zahid Hussain and directed by the acclaimed theatre personality, Mushtaaque Ali Ahmad Khan.

This powerful drama delves into the complexities of the human condition, raising important questions about sanity, morality, and the blurred lines between reality and madness. Through its engaging storyline and memorable characters, “Pagal Koun?” captivated audiences and sparked meaningful conversations, a statement issued to INS reads.

The play was scheduled to be staged on two separate dates and separate venues: Today it was performed at 11 AM at S P College, Srinagar, and tomorrow it will be performed at 4 PM at Tagore Hall, Srinagar. Entry to the play on both the dates is free, and the organizers invited, students, theatre enthusiasts and members of the public to attend.

“We are thrilled to present ‘Pagal Koun?’ to the people of Srinagar,” said Mushtaaque Ali Ahmad Khan, who is also the Chairman of ‘ACT – For A Better Tomorrow’. “This play is a testament to the power of theatre to inspire, educate, and entertain. We look forward to sharing it with our audience in future as well.”

Mushtaaque Ali Ahmad Khan, the director of the play, added, ” ‘Pagal Koun?’ is a thought-provoking drama that challenges our assumptions about the world around us. I am excited to bring this important play to life with the talented cast and crew of ACT – For A Better Tomorrow.”

In addition to a good number of audience including the young students the play was watched by the staff of the college also.

The chief Guest was the Principal of the college M. Farooq Mir.
The guests of honour who attend the show were Sayed Humayun Qaisar, Mahajabeen Nabi, Manzoor Ahmad Mir and Reshi Rasheed.

The cast included Akib Haleem, Arjmand Andrabi, Abdul Basit & Suhaib Lateef.

Make-up was done by Gul Javaid and stage management was done by Barkat Ali.

The Director of the play expressed his thanks to the audience, for joining for an unforgettable theatrical experience! He also thanked the media fraternity for their whole hearted support to our activities.
