Smile Foundation extends support to fire victims of Ratpora, Eidgah

Srinagar, Feb 25: In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity, Smile Foundation visited the fire-affected families of Ratpora, Eidgah, Srinagar, to extend support and assess their needs. The devastating fire incident left many families homeless, causing immense loss and suffering.

During the visit, Chairperson of Smile Foundation, Masrat, expressed deep concern for the victims and assured them of immediate assistance. She emphasized the foundation’s commitment to providing relief and helping the affected families rebuild their lives.

President Smile foundation NGO Sajad Ahmad Sholla as per INS also addressed the gathering, highlighting the need for collective efforts to support those in distress. He called upon various stakeholders, including NGOs and local authorities, to come forward and provide necessary aid.

Political activist, Manzur Bhat voiced his concern over the tragedy and urged the government to expedite rehabilitation efforts. He stressed the importance of preventive measures to avoid such incidents in the future.

Prominent social worker of Kashmir, Syed Aijaz Kashani, also spoke at the event, emphasizing the need for long-term support beyond immediate relief. He reiterated the importance of community-driven initiatives to help affected families regain stability.

Smile Foundation has pledged to provide essential relief materials, including food, clothing, and financial assistance, to the fire victims. The organization also plans to coordinate with local authorities to ensure proper rehabilitation measures are implemented.
