Jammu, Feb 17: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday said that there would be no halt in anti-terrorism operations and that maintaining peace and tranquility in Jammu and Kashmir is the top priority.

Speaking to media in Jammu, Sinha, as per KNO said that the Indian Army is fully capable and providing a strong and appropriate response on the border. “Indian Army is effectively responding the situation,” he added in response to a question about the recent violence along the Line of Control (LoC).

He also said that the police and security forces are working in close coordination to address security challenges. “They have clear instructions to eliminate terrorism and secure the region,” he added.

“There will be no halt in anti-terrorism operations, as safeguarding peace and tranquility in J&K is our foremost priority,” Sinha said, adding that the security agencies have been given clear and unwavering directives to root out terrorism and ensure lasting stability.
