Udhampur, Feb 02: A minor boy lost his life while a girl received injuries after a wall collapsed in Udhampur area of Jammu district on Sunday.

An official told JKNS that a wall collapsed in Udhampur district on Sunday and two minors got stuck in it following which a rescue operation was launched.

He said that during the rescue operation both boy and girl were taken out of the debris, however, the boy had succumbed till then while the girl was taken to hospital in injured condition.

Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started investigation.
