Srinagar man succumbs to injuries following Nowgam accident

Srinagar, Jan 3: A man who was critically injured in a road accident in Srinagar’s Nowgam area on Monday passed away at SKIMS Soura this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Nazir Ahmad Naqash, a resident of Srinagar’s uptown Baghat Barzulla. According to reports, he had suffered severe head injuries after being struck by an Alto K10 vehicle in Nowgam earlier this week.

After the accident, Naqash was initially taken to Ujala Cygnus Hospital for medical attention before being shifted to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment.

On Friday morning, he succumbed to his injuries.

Notably, police had already registered a case regarding the incident.
