DGP visits Kathua areas, interacts with officers, jawans

Kathua, Jan 29: Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Parbhat IPS Wednesday visited Machedi, Badnota, Sadrota and Dugaini Police Post.

As per a statement issued to INS, he interacted with Jawans and officers of SOG Kathua Billawar.

ADGP Jammu zone Anand Jain IPS briefed the DGP about ongoing anti-terrorist operations in these areas.

DIG JKS Range Shiv Kumar, DDIB Jammu, SSP kathua Shobit Saxena, SP ops Amir, DySP Ops Malhar Sukhvir Singh SHO Billawar accompanied DGP during his visit to these far flung areas of Kathua district.

Brigadier TS Sekhon Army, CO Sikh Unit and Commandant CRPF Arvind gave detailed presentation about operational preparedness in these areas.

DGP also interacted with Army and CRPF jawans, Officers and he directed all forces to work in coordination and all efforts to neutralize terrorist, whose presence has been sighted in area.

DGP stressed upon intelligence generation and operations on ground.
