DSEK promises resolution of issues of non-teaching employees

Srinagar, Jan 23: The Director School Education Kashmir has promised prompt resolution of all key issues pertaining to non-teaching employees of the department.

The matter concerning the Chairman of SENTEF, J&K, has been graciously resolved by the Director of School Education, Kashmir, who has also assured that several key issues will be addressed within a well-defined timeframe.

These include the removal of teaching staff from clerical assignments, particularly in the Directorate, CEO offices, ZEO offices, and other subordinate offices of School Education; de-freezing 4522 posts of Non-teaching categories; the regularization and confirmation of look-after and in-charge Head Assistants and Senior Assistants; the placement of staff in vacant Section Officer posts (with over 15 positions currently vacant); and the filling of 92 vacant Head Assistant posts under the 75% and 25% quotas.

Besides, the promotion of type-test-qualified Class IV employees to Junior Assistants, and the regularization of CPWs on a consistent basis were also assured.

In a gesture of gratitude and unity, the leaders expressed heartfelt thanks to the Director of School Education, Kashmir (G.N Itoo) and the Chief Accounts Officer DESK (Syed Mubashira Hussain) for their proactive approach and reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring that the non-teaching cadre continues to work diligently toward achieving the government’s ambitious goals.

This alliance between determination and diligence marks a significant step toward realizing a future where objectives are transformed into shining realities.

Furthermore, President Jeelani Naik has extended heartfelt gratitude to the cadre for standing firm, showing resilience, and contributing selflessly to this cause, especially provincial body leaders and District Presidents, including Mohd Ashraf, Provincial President; Mushtaq Ahmad, Provincial Vice President; Syed Safvi, General Secretary; Abdul Wakeel Shah, Vice President-II; Zubair Shafi, Secretary; Reyaz Ahmad, Organizer; Rayees Akbar, Publicity Secretary; Zeeshan Qayoom, DP Srinagar; Mohammad Altaf Mir, DP, Budgam; Aatir Rashid, DP Baramulla; Fayaz Ahmad, DP Bandipora; Sheikh Ashiq Rasool, DP Kupwara; Meeras Murtaza Fayaz, DP Pulwama; Mohd Mushtaq Laloo, DP Shopian; and Gowhar Ahmad, DP Kulgam.
