Srinagar, Dec 10: The Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum (JKCSF) Chairman, and President Pensioners United front Abdul Qayoom Wani, hailed decision of Chief minister Omer Abdullah and Education Minister Sakeena Masood Itoo for reappointing Dr. Ghulam Nabi Itoo as Director of School Education.

Wani also congratulated Dr G. N Itoo as the Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK). Wani hailed Dr. Yatoo as a visionary leader with a legacy of impactful reforms in education.

During his earlier tenure, Dr. Yatoo’s collaborative efforts with us led to the regularization of 41,000 Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) teachers and significant school improvements. His innovative policies in curriculum development, moral education, and teaching resources fostered quality learning.

Wani expressed optimism that Dr. Itoo’s renewed leadership will address teachers’ and students’ concerns, enhance academic standards, and improve teacher welfare. He described the reappointment as a testament to Dr. Itoo’s exceptional abilities and dedication to advancing education in Kashmir. Wani said that “I have the honour to work with him for about more than three years and I was very much impressed by his human nature, simplicity , visionary leadership and sense of belonging.”

JKCSF extended its best wishes for his continued success and assured him full sport for the larger interest of future generations in particular and society in general.
