Mirwaiz hails Police for action against drug peddlers

Srinagar, Dec 2: Mirwaiz Umar Farooq lauded the Jammu Kashmir Police for their relentless efforts in combating the inter-state drug network. He praised the police for their effective action against drug peddlers, stating that their role is “laudable.”

In his address to a group of people at a private function in Srinagar, Mirwaiz said that over the past three weeks, the police have been actively arresting drug peddlers and attaching their properties, demonstrating their commitment to curbing the drug menace.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq as per KNT said that the public will always support the police if they continue to work in the best interest of society.

“The police’s efforts have been comprehensive and their actions have sent a strong message against drug trafficking,” he said adding that there is a need to curb the drug menace and police have been doing a wonderful job.
